list all files in a folder

dir command:

/B Uses bare format (no heading information or summary).

 

/S Displays files in specified directory and all subdirectories.
dir /s /b >filelist.txt

 

dir > myfile.txt

Takes the output of dir and re-routes it to the file myfile.txt instead of outputting it to the screen

dir /on

List the files in alphabetical order by the names of the files.
